Job Description
Working closely with the HR Manager, you will go through a thorough induction and onboarding program, including training on the storage, distribution and decanting of chemicals.
With a range of in-house training programs and ongoing L&D opportunities you will be up to speed in no timeSome of your day-to-day activities will be;
Reviewing, updating and implementing policies, and procedures and communicating changes to the business- Office and warehouse site inspections, risk assessments, audits, walkarounds, toolbox talks
- Reviewing, updating & issuing PPE, including safety glasses, boots and hi-vis vests
- Liaising with internal and external teams around Australia as the WHS point of contact
- Promoting and fostering a safety-first mindset
- Recommending and implementing any new WHS initiatives
- Assisting with RTW and any insurance claims
- Participate in meetings, assist with updating/development of WHS systems, procedures, training matrix etc

Cert4 in WHS or a similar relevant qualification- Previous experience in a WHS role

Any prior experience or knowledge of chemicals, dangerous goods or hazardous substance environments would be beneficial, but not essential.
