Workers Compensation Manager - Northern Territory
Our team provides claims services for Workers Compensation insurance. Workers Compensation provides cover for personal injuries sustained in the course of employment. Allianz employs claims staff to assist claimants rebuild their lives when they need us most. As the Workers Compensation Manager you will be responsible to lead the claims team providing direction on key portfolio measures, advice on complex issues and drive processes that enhance our standing as a leading Workers Compensation insurer in the Northern Territory.
You'll be responsible for:
- Support the Manager Western Region in driving and achieving targeted outcomes on all facets of the Northern Territory operation
- Ensure the Northern Territory (NT) operation delivers on expectations of service levels for Allianz Assured clients and NPS survey results reflect a high level of service and customer satisfaction and act on any poor results or feedback
- Provide a supportive and encouraging environment for people to feel safe, engaged and encouraged to voice an opinion and provide leadership, mentoring and training to develop key people within the NT
- Ensure cost effective outcomes are at the heart of every business decision.
- Develop leading customer value propositions to win in the market, leveraging new WC brand and AVA capabilities.
Important to your success:
- Significant experience in Underwritten Workers Compensation or Equivalent Casualty Line
- Demonstrated prior leadership experience in managing High Performing Teams
- Sound Understanding of the Northern Territory Workers Compensation Scheme and Framework
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance or Business preferred but not essential with appropriate vocational experience
- Ability to manage and foster relationships locally and internationally.
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Time management skills and a proactive approach
