About the role
This position as part of the Workforce Planning team is responsible for the efficient and timely rostering of our support workers to provide services to our community-based customers. You will be communicating support services to customers that reflect their choices and requirements, whilst utilising available resources effectively.
Duties Include:
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues, customers, and carers to ensure effective rostering of supports and services to meet the needs of customers, contractors, and contractual obligations.
- Respond to customer calls and assess the needs of the caller and redirect as needed.
- Timely recording and escalation of issues and incidents appropriately for resolution.
- Implement processes and procedures to ensure consistent practices are followed.
- Ensure all customer information is current and accurate records are kept.
What we're looking for:
- Availability to work a rotating weekend roster
- Tertiary qualification (e.g. Certificate level) in disability, aged care, or mental health or similar, or working towards a relevant qualification.
- One to three years' proven experience in providing services to individuals and their families.
- Experience rostering or managing the logistics of coordinating services to customers is desirable.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including effective listening skills.
- Ability to document conversations and actions accurately.
- Demonstrates good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven effective time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow up in a timely and responsive way.
