What you'll be doing
Based out of the Virgin Australia Brisbane HQ, the Workforce Planning Coordinator will be responsible for managing the leave allocation process of our frontline resources. In this position, you will assist with reporting and tracking leave, roster, and training activity whilst ensuring all of the correct policies and procedures are applied.
- Co-ordinate with key stakeholders and Workforce Planning on any leave management objectives.
- Work collaboratively within the Workforce Planning team to ensure that key objectives for all roster groups are achieved.
- Update checklists and procedures with any changes required and conduct regular reviews of procedures to ensure they are relevant and accurate.
- Responsible for the implementation of Leave Planning and allocation for all roster groups managed by the Workforce Planning team.
- Identify potential process improvements and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Ensure all information provided is clear and accurate.
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
- Intermediate Computer skills including Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- A detail-oriented professional with an understanding of resource planning processes, theories and methodologies.
- SharePoint experience
- Strong communication, organisation and time management, and attention to detail
