About the role:

Are you passionate about creating a healthy and positive work environment? Wesley Mission Queensland is seeking someone who is passionate about Workplace Wellbeing and looking at innovative ways to drive employee engagement. As a Workforce Wellbeing Specialist, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of wellness, resilience and recognition. This role will provide you opportunity to: 

  • Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive Workforce Wellbeing Program 
  • Further grow and develop our existing Employee Recognition Program  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wellbeing initiatives 
  • Deliver engaging workshops, events and education sessions 
  • Manage our Mental Health First Aid Network 
  • Provide guidance on stress management, work-life balance and employee engagement
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing programs. 

About You :

  • Have a genuine passion in wellbeing and wanting grow and develop within this space 
  • Experience working within a Human Resources or Health Wellness environments 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships and engage with a range of stakeholders 
  • Tertiary qualifications in Wellness, Human Resources, Health, Accessibility or similar
  • Knowledge of mental health and wellbeing strategies
