AusHealth Work has been a national workplace safety and wellbeing leader since 1985 specialising in Drug and Alcohol testing services.
Employers engage AusHealth to conduct workplace testing for the presence of drugs and Alcohol through planned testing events as well as unplanned testing following work incidents.
Your work will involve:
- Performing Workplace Drugs of abuse testing for breath alcohol, oral fluid, urine and/or hair
- Maintaining the chain of custody of specimens and accurate records of all on-site visits.
- Organising the transportation of specimens to laboratories after collection as required
As a casual Specimen Collector, your working hours will fluctuate as per our client demands and there is no guarantee of regular hours.
You will need to be generally available 24/7 due to the nature of our work – this includes being available at short notice for incident response. Possession of a smartphone, current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle is essential.
Covid-19. Whilst not mandatory, most of our clients will require staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Evidence will be required of this for specific clients.

Experience and training in the health sector, handling biological specimens and/or workplace safety will be highly regarded.
