Nautical Roofing Group is a well-established Metal Roofing company that services the commercial and industrial roofing industry in South East Queensland.
To assist the team’s commitment to company safety, we are looking for a Workplace Health and Safety Officer/Administrator. The position may consist of an Administrative Role with the assistance of a Third party conducting Site Audits/Reporting or a Successful Candidate covering the both Onsite and Admin. The position will require the candidate to work directly with the Directors, Supervisors and all staff and clients.
The head office is located on the Sunshine Coast however the jobs are located between Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
Job Description:
- Servicing, updating and implementing company safety systems.
- Complete staff audits and assessments
- Completion of risk assessments/SWMS for projects
- Staff onboarding/inductions
- Site Visits
- Toolbox meetings
- Managing rehabilitation/injuries
- Assisting record keeping
The successful candidate will:
- Be willing to take initiative.
- Be willing to work independently and in a team.
- Minimum Cert 4 in Workplace Health and Safety
- White Card
- Driver’s License
- Experience with construction WH&S preferred.
- Strong computer skills (including use of all Microsoft programs)
- Experience in Procore/1Breadcrumb
- Excellent communications skills
