You will be responsible for conducting investigations into workplace grievances, bullying, harassment, and misconduct related to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all assessments and/or investigations are conducted to the highest quality standard in line with legislation, policies and procedures ensuring procedural fairness and natural justice
- Prepare and conduct interviews with respondents, witness and complainants including supported people and their families as relevant
- Seek, analyse, and review evidence, information and documents provided as part of an assessment or investigation process
- Provide recommendations on appropriate activities to aid resolution
- Document process, allegations, finding, evidence, and other critical information into a Workplace Investigation Report
- Demonstrated experience in conducting high quality, sensitive and complex workplace investigations
- Demonstrated ability to apply legislation, policy and procedural requirements to ensure compliance and minimise risk
- High level analytical ability, with ability to ask probing questions
- Strong ability to use discretion and sound judgement to resolve issues independently
- Able to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders internally and externally to foster productive working relationships
- Able to critically evaluate information from various angles, assess risks, and identify solutions
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience working in a fluid and changing environment
- Strong experience writing reports, recommendations, preparing correspondence and other documents for senior stakeholders
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
- Working with Children Check
- The right to work in Australia
