The Position

You will be responsible for conducting investigations into workplace grievances, bullying, harassment, and misconduct related to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all assessments and/or investigations are conducted to the highest quality standard in line with legislation, policies and procedures ensuring procedural fairness and natural justice
• Prepare and conduct interviews with respondents, witness and complainants including supported people and their families as relevant
• Seek, analyse, and review evidence, information and documents provided as part of an assessment or investigation process
• Provide recommendations on appropriate activities to aid resolution
• Document process, allegations, finding, evidence, and other critical information into a Workplace Investigation Report

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrated experience in conducting high quality, sensitive and complex workplace investigations
• Demonstrated ability to apply legislation, policy and procedural requirements to ensure compliance and minimise risk
• High level analytical ability, with ability to ask probing questions
• Strong ability to use discretion and sound judgement to resolve issues independently
• Able to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders internally and externally to foster productive working relationships
• Able to critically evaluate information from various angles, assess risks, and identify solutions
• Strong negotiation skills
• Experience working in a fluid and changing environment
• Strong experience writing reports, recommendations, preparing correspondence and other documents for senior stakeholders
