They are also focused on improving the safety, health and wellbeing of it's employees and this role will play a pivotal role in supporting the psychological health of the organisation's talent workforce. Sitting within a large People and Culture team and reporting into the Head of Safety and Wellbeing, you will help define the organisations' strategy around Mental Health and Wellbeing particularly around Workers Compensation as well as case management of Mental Health-related workers compensation claims.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Managing the relationship with external providers such as the EAP provider
- Design and deliver the Mental Health strategy for the organisation
- Support the development and delivery of the Mental Health Strategy
- Provide advice to promote effective and responsive rehabilitation of injured/ill employees.
- Work closely with business leaders' to support the early intervention and management of workers' compensation claims as well as supporting the safe return to work for employees
We will be looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in related field
- Proven experience working with Workplace Mental Health
- Experienced in managing workers' compensation
- Ability to positively influence employees and managers by promoting a positive Mental Health culture across the organisation
- Strong working knowledge of workers compensation and best practise return to work strategies
- Highly desirable; experience working within the Financial services industry or related industry
