AddressOur client is a national leader in equipment hire for pumps, generators and compressors across a variety of sectors including mining, construction, utilities and power generation. We are seeking multiple skilled Pump Fitters to support their rebuilds team based in Newcastle for an immediate start. With proven ability, this has the potential to lead into a permanent, full time position.
What's involved?
- Strip, assess, component change out and rebuild of a variety of pumps in a workshop environment
- Work as part of a team to complete quality projects
- Use of forklift
What are we looking for?
- Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Experience in assembly and overhaul of pumps highly regarded
- A great attitude and attention to detail
- Forklift ticket
- Dogging / overhead crane highly regarded
- Genuine commitment to safety
- Excellent work references that can support your application
What we can offer you:
- $56 / hour casual
- Monday - Friday 6 AM - 2:30 PM + overtime and penalties available
- Overtime available throughout the week
