About the Role
Fusion Building and Maintenance (FBM) is looking for a dynamic Workshop Storeman to join their team!
Due to our continual growth, we are seeking a Workshop Storeman who can use their knowledge and skills of the warehousing industry in an environment that makes a significant and positive impact on people’s lives.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Maintenance and upkeep of the Workshop (building operation).
- Picking and packing of stock, and delivery to work sites.
- Picking up stock and delivering to work sites.
- Workshop stock/inventory management.
- Organising of materials as directed by the Project Managers.
- Upkeep of FBM system registers as required.
- The moving of materials using a Forklift.
- Maintenance and/or organising the maintenance, of machinery and equipment in the Workshop - including tagging and testing (if required training will be provided).
- Manufacturing of galvanised steel grab rails (training provided).
- Compliance with Fusion Australia Ltd Policies and Procedures and associated industry standards and legislations eg. Work Health & Safety (WHS).

In this role, you will have access to the following:-
- Initial 12 month contract with possible renewal.
- Full time employment.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 3.30pm.
- 40 hour week, with a Rostered Day Off (RDO) once a month (paid 38 hours).
- Training to help you adapt to our systems.

About Us
Fusion Australia Ltd T/As Fusion Building and Maintenance has more than 20 years' experience in providing specialist, disability access home modifications and maintenance, for the frail-aged and disabled.
We are based in Richmond NSW, and primarily work in the Nepean, Hawkesbury and Lower Blue Mountains areas.
We are a well-established social enterprise who also complete home modifications for private residents, insurance agencies, and other aged and disability Providers.

About You
Essential Criteria for this position:
- 3 years plus, knowledge and experience in a building trade or equivalent (practical skills).
- Qualifications or industry experience in basic welding or willing to learn on the job.
- Working Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).
- Forklift Licence.
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain).
- A current NSW Drivers Licence (with a good driving record).
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and the ability to adapt to new IT systems.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- A courteous, thoughtful and respectful disposition.
- Well presented, neat and tidy.
- Willingness to adhere with Fusion Australia Ltd and associated industry policies and procedures associated with the position.
