The Position
To provide the highest quality possible and the most efficient, economical
service of products repaired in the area of assigned responsibility.
Skills and Knowledge
Day to day activities in the workshop repair section including, but not limited to dismantling product, cleaning, inspecting, parts ordering, re-assembling and testing of those ZF products where appropriate skills have been attained.
Ensure safe work practices are adhered to at all times in accordance with current Workplace Health & Safety legislation.
Maintain the availability of a high quality set of basic tools according to the company’s tool allowance policy.
Communicate effectively with the Production Team leader to ensure every day targets are achieved.
To be Productive and Efficient to an agreed percentage set by Management.
Maintaining Best in class Housekeeping standards and tidy practices in your work area and all tools and the repair parts well organised and overall presentation of the workstation maintained to the highest standard.
Work well under pressure to meet or exceed customer requirements.
Display good time management skills to complete Repair Orders according to scheduled commitments.
Attain as diverse ZF product repair skills as possible according to Skills Matrix.
Accurately complete any documentation requirements for workshop administration and record keeping.
Responsible for duties as per required by management to establish and /or maintain company compliance and accreditation to following where
- International standard ( ISO)
- Australian standards (AS)
- Acts of Government Statute
