The Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program will provide a highly secure, holistic and integrated view of the care a patient receives across the New South Wales (NSW) public health system. It will transform the digital systems that NSW’s public healthcare workers use every day to deliver care. The SDPR is a next generation integrated electronic medical record (eMR), laboratory information management system (LIMS) and patient administration system (PAS). The program will replace the current nine eMRs, 10 PAS and five pathology LIMS in use across NSW Health. SDPR will be delivered across NSW Health through a partnership between Local Health Districts (LHDs), Specialty Health Networks (SHNs), eHealth NSW, NSW Health Pathology and other agencies. Reporting into the Capability Manager, you will be part of the team assisting in ensuring the delivery of workstream tasks throughout the design and implementation lifecycle. You will continue to operationally manage and support the implemented products and services from the workstream, post go live. Working closely with stakeholders and users, you will lead and manage the design, configuration, and testing of a state-wide digital health record solution workstream. The program will contain 5 different workstreams including: Inpatient, Outpatient, Medications Management, Patient Administration System & Ancillary and Specialty. Health Manager Level 5, commencing salary from $161,042 – $180,143 per annum plus 11% superannuation. For more information, read the full Position Description What you will do As an integral member of the Single Digital Patient Record team, you will: Strategically lead and manage a workstream team. Ensure consistent configuration and integration between the solutions and the wider digital health record team. Collaborate with key stakeholders to meet customer needs within established timeframes. Provide expertise and guidance in designing, configuring, and testing digital health record solutions. Maintain scope, schedule, and quality while understanding operational needs to set the direction for digital health record solution. Manage regular reporting for senior leaders on program progress. Facilitate the transition of the workstream into an operational product and service, in line with the project timeline. About you We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who have: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Health (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health discipline, Health Information Management) and/or extensive experience working in a Public Health Care setting. Superior expertise and a track record of success in steering large, complex program implementations and/or digital health solutions within budget and scope.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a large and complex clinical ICT service environment. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
