Job description

Wyong Leagues Group is one of the largest growing employers on the Central Coast, with over 300 staff, operating 11 venues across the state. Rugby League is core to the identity of the Wyong Leagues Group, and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sports administrator with proven achievements in the field to lead an established and distinguished Rugby League department. 

The Wyong Roos Head of Rugby League will report to the Executive Manager of Property, Safety and Sport. Leading the Wyong RoosRugby League operation, it will be your responsibility to oversee and manage all aspects of the Wyong RoosRugby League programs. You will be responsible for the coordination and delegation of all Rugby League duties amongst yourself and your team. The role will be hands on, and will require a combination of leadership, administration, management and development skills. 

The ideal candidate for this role will be effective, efficient, and have strong delegation and organizational skills. Transparency and communication is essential to the role. 

The ideal applicant will possess:

  • Demonstrated Sports Administration and Management Achievements
  • Project Management skills
  • Excellent Communication skills including verbal and written

  • Ability to plan and prioritize 
  • Team work and Delegation skills
  • Leadership and Vision
  • A Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Sports Management 

Must be willing to obtain:

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
