We're seeking a motivated individual to embark on a journey in the Automotive Industry as a Yard Hand/Car Cleaner. This full-time, permanent position is not just a job, but a chance to be a part of our success story, with promising opportunities for future progression. In this role, you will conduct meticulous inspections on all incoming new vehicles delivered to the dealership.

Your responsibilities will be crucial in ensuring these vehicles are free from transit damage and are equipped with all necessary items like logbooks, keys, and VIN numbers. Additionally, your role will encompass assisting with car cleaning tasks as needed. Your responsibilities will include:   efficiently check in new vehicles delivered to the dealership.

accurately report any transport damage on the booking sheets. promptly highlight any damaged vehicles to relevant departments. diligently maintain the stock holding yards.

skilfully move and park vehicles. drive vehicles to and from external contractors for various services. prepare parts for the pre-delivery technicians.

assist pre-delivery detailers in cleaning new vehicles during busy periods. support service Car Cleaners in washing service vehicles. To thrive in this role, you'll need:   exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate transfer of information like VIN numbers.

strong organisational and time management skills. excellent team player with effective communication skills. committed to adhering to company policies and maintaining high service standards.

physically fit to meet the demands of the role, including regular walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods. intermediate computer skills. previous car washing experience is an advantage but not essential.

a valid manual driver’s licence. physical fitness to meet the job demands. outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
