Price Produce is a rural trading business located in Rosewood Qld - directly across from the Rosewood Train Station. We are a retail business stocking and selling farming supplies, pet and stock food to our local and surrounding communities.
As a family-owned business - we value our staff and are seeking a reliable, hardworking and personable Yard Hand/General Hand to join our young and close-knit team.
We are looking for someone who will stay and grow with our company.
Important: This is a physically active role, candidates need to be willing and able.
About the Role
Immediate start available
Expected hours: 28 per week
8am to 5pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday
8am to 12pm Saturday
Casual but ongoing with a view to permanency for the right candidate
Pay rate: up to $30.00 per hour (depending on age and experience) + Super
To be successful, you will:
- Be willing and able to engage in physical work on a consistent basis – the role involves daily manual handling of bags/bales of up to 30kg
- Have experience in managing deliveries and inventory, including item replenishment and storage.
- Ensure that the working areas are clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Be hard working, reliable and a team player
- Have clean drivers licence as assisting with deliveries will be required at times
- Have experience in and hold a current forklift licence (desired)
- Be polite, well-spoken and have excellent customer service as building relationships with our long standing customers is very important
- Have a mature and positive attitude towards your work
- Have basic computer skills
- Be able to work unsupervised in a safe and productive manner
- Be trustworthy and treat others with respect
