Looking for a job with variety, sick of being stuck in a HOT factory but would love a job where you can still do maintenance / fabricating mixed in with a variety of other duties and the opportunity for advancement, well we have the job for you. Due to continued growth we seek to engage the services of a mechanically minded self-starter in the role of General hand reporting to the Purchasing Manager in our Loganholme base. In this role no two days will be the same and will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to hone their new found skills and become an integral part of the All Door Solutions team.  

The successful candidate will be able to show a good mechanical understanding, have a positive attitude to learning and be able to take direction as required. No formal qualifications are required as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

All Door Solutions is a Market leader in Industrial and Commercial doors, maintenance, repairs and installations. 

Duties and responsibilities: 

Main duties include: 

1. Assist with everyday duties at our factory at Loganholme
2. Assist with manufacturing and maintenance work (welding skills a plus)
3. Assist in workshop duties: Setting up doors for painting, assist in fabricating    and putting roller shutters together
4. Storing parts received in safe clear areas for dispatch. 
5. Pick up and deliveries using company vehicle from both north side and south side of Brisbane.
6. Disposal of general waste (timber and scrap metal) and yard duties
7. Trained in all store’s duties including computer programmes
8. Be available to assist onsite technicians on jobs as required.
9. Cover for stores personnel on Annual leave or sick leave.

2. Must work well with others and taking direction from the Purchasing Manager.
3. Must be able to work un-supervised.
4. Mechanically minded
5. Carry out Minor maintenance tasks 
6. Be competent in the use of battery and electrical tools
7. Must have an understanding of safe work procedures and confident to report safety issues
8. Must be able to have a foresight to cleanliness in the workplace
9. Must be courteous and be able to communicate with others
10. Be open to working overtime.

Special requirements: The successful applicant must 

· Be able to produce a current manual driver’s licence 

· Have or willing to get covid shots and boosters up to date

· Have or willing to get Flu shots up to date
