Yard Maintenance Worker

The role will involve:

• Lawn Care: Mowing, trimming, and ensuring the health of grassy areas.
• Weed Control: Identifying and removing weeds from lawns and landscaped areas.
• Pruning and Trimming: Shaping trees, bushes, and shrubs to maintain their appearance.
• Landscape Maintenance: Raking, debris clearing, and pathway upkeep.

Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on landscaping tools.

• Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols during outdoor work.
• Client Interaction: Communicating with clients to understand their needs.
• Team Collaboration: Working with colleagues to complete tasks efficiently.                                                                                                        

You should hold or be willing to obtain:

• A Blue Card for working with children,
• A positive suitability notice card or exemption card for working with people with disabilities,
• A current Queensland driver's license.
• A current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or equivalent)

Physical fitness to perform manual handling, domestic assistance and to participate in activities with participants,
