YARD MANAGER

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced leader to manage our E'CO Operation.

This position provides you with an opportunity to work with our WA team in order to ensure the yard operates at maximum efficiency whilst maintaining excellent vendor and customer service.

In this position you will be managing a small, close-knit team. Experience across the breadth of our yard operations, including Machine & Weighbridge operations, Forklift driving, Truck drive experience, will ensure you are able to step in and support the team where required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all yard operations to ensure Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements are exceeded,
• Maximise sustainable profit by establishing and implementing production goals, objectives and procedures in line with budgets and forecasts,
• Use knowledge of raw or textile materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and with the use of continuous improvement techniques for maximising the effective processing of scrap,
• Conduct training as required, including induction of new employees.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of 1 years previous team leadership skills
• Self-starter who has excellent interpersonal and people management skills
• In depth scheduling, planning and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Criteria:

• Forklift or Excavator ticket & experience
• Knowledge and understanding of the recycle industry and its processing techniques and equipment.

LABOURER & TRUCK DRIVER 

Key Responsibilities:

• Be physically fit and have a positive attitude 
• Collecting clothing and all utilities
• Bin area clearing and regular maintenance 
• Be able to lift up to 30kg 
• Good driving skills and maintenance 
• Aware of how to use straps 
• Carryout regular cleaning and maintenance of our reverse sorting equipment
• Delivering exceptional customer service to ensure our customers have a great experience
• Ensuring the sorting equipment is running efficiently by removing and replacing collection bins as they fill up
• Ensuring the recycling centre is well presented by maintaining a safe, clean, efficient and professional environment for team members
• Monitoring the recycling centre for any hazards and reporting concerns as they arise
• Maintain Chemicals 
• 
  Qualifications
• To be a successful Recycling Centre Attendant you will
• Have a passion for recycling and the environment
• Have a keen eye for detail and a motivation to maintain a clean work environment
• Be a safety champion, everyone deserves to return home safely!
• Be physically fit, some manual lifting will be required
