AddressOur client, a well established, family owned Cold Logistics Supplier, is seeking a Driver with an MC License for their PM Sift at Arndell Park.
Reporting to the Operations Shift Manager, you will be responsbile for the safe and efficient movement of trucks within their Arndell Park depot.
This is a permanent, full time role. The hours are 6pm - 4am Sunday to Thursday. Great Overtime rates! Rare and exciting opportunity to get off the road whilst still ulitising your skills and experience.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- The movement of trailers/vehicles entering or leaving the yard area
- The movement of vehicles on and off docks for loading and unloading
- Adhere to speed limits in and around each of their depots
- Ensure compliance of paperwork when loading goods
- Ensure compliance of load restraints/A Frames/Freezer boards, temperature probes etc when loading and unloading
- Liaise with Despatch Managers and Operations Managers on smooth movement of shuttles between depots
- Ensure EPJ's and MHE are securely stowed when not in use and are fully charged/maintained for next use
- Liaise with Truck wash to ensure movement of fleet between depot and workshop
- Manage the fleet stowage in and around the precinct to avoid penalties and fines
- Liaise with Maintenance department to ensure equipment is available for scheduled servicing as per maintenance request orders
- Audit daily the use of wheel chocks, temperature probe calibration and other safety procedures
- Spot check fuel levels when fleet returns to depot and call out repeat offenders not refuelling on their way back to the depot
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
- Current MC License
- Previous Heavy vehicle driving
- Exposure to logistics despatch warehouse
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Effective problem-solving attitude
- Ability to mediate between team members, clients, and management
- Knowledge of COR, HACCP and NSW Food Safety expectations
