Casual position with the opportunity to move to Full time for the right candidate.
5 days a week - 10 hour days
The successful applicant:
- Must have warehouse/storage yard experience
- Must have a current "C" class drivers license.
- Must have a current forklift license.
- Must be available to work some Saturdays.
- Must have the ability to do some heavy lifting and repetitive movement.
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Be willing to listen to instructions
It would be an advantage for the applicant if they had:
- Proven experience in hardware, building materials and timber.
- Truck License
Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Preparing timber orders
- Serving customers in the yard
- Putting stock away
- Unloading and loading of trucks
- Cleaning of the yard
- Manual handling of timber and materials at times
- High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors
- Forklift operation loading and unloading of trucks
- Movement of stock/timber in the yard
- Pulling and preparation of orders & stock management
