AT-PAC is experiencing continued growth year on year in all areas of its global business. As a part of our growth program, we are looking for motivated, flexible and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. Reporting directly to our Yard Supervisor the position will be based out of our Wangara yard with typical hours of operation being 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday.
Daily tasks will include:
- Undertakes duties in a safe and responsible manner, working in a team environment and/or under routine supervision. Adhering to safety protocols and company policies and procedures
- General Labouring - Manually storing and packing of materials in accordance with procedures.
- Customer Service – liaison with customer’s, transport drivers and suppliers to escort and assist in the yard
- Loading and unloading of scaffold materials from trucks and sea containers
- General maintenance of scaffolding materials, use of hand tools etc.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy yard area
- Accurate counts and record keeping including recording inventory movements and damage reporting when hire materials are returned
Competencies required:
- Fit and capable to perform manual tasks - regularly lifting up to 20kg
- Good written and verbal English communication skills. Experience using an iPad would be beneficial.
- Positive and proactive can-do attitude
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work both as part of a team or independently
- OHS Construction Card (White Card)
- Forklift Ticket (HRWL LF) desirable but not mandatory. Opportunity to be upskilled once settled into role.
- Australian citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position.
