Yardman/Labourer

Ground Support Systems (Aust) is a well established hire company with branches throughout Australia that service the civil constrution and the mining industries as well as local government bodies across Australia. 

There is an opportunity for a healthy, enthusiastic, hard working person to join our Adelaide depot as Yardman/Labourer. This is a full time position, with above award rates as well as all the standard award benifits and pentalty rates that apply to the award.  

The main tasks required in this role will be: 

• Operation of a forklift for loading and unloading transport vehicles and company trucks, cleaning and maintenance fo the hire equipment. 
•  To assemble and disassemble hire equipment as required. (On the job training provided)
• Cleaning and general maintanence of our hire equipment.
• Complete daily paperwork, including prestarts for forklifts, Stocktakes, delivery/collection dockets etc.
• To do deliveries and collection in  company ute when required

Skills and Experience:

• Current Car Driver's Licence (or higher)
• High Risk Licence for a Forklift (LF)
• White card (general Site Induction card)
• The ability to use hand held power tools
• Experience within the Civil Construction industry could be benificial. 
• The right person for this position must be fit to preform some manual handling as required.
