Overview
We have a great leadership opportunity for a Manager, Contracts and Projects responsible for planning, coordinating sourcing and contract management activities on behalf of Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN).
In this role, you will ensure value for money is realised, contracts deliver the required outcomes and risks are appropriately managed throughout the procurement process and oversee a number of divisional improvement projects contributing to the efficiency of the Network’s operations.
The key outcomes for this role are:
- Advising, supporting and undertaking procurement and contract management strategies and processes that enable YNLHN to achieve effective procurement and contract management across the whole supply chain.
- Identifying, reviewing, developing and implementing efficiencies and improvements in procurement processes and work practices, to meet state quality and continuous improvement objectives, including policies, procedures, templates, reports and processes to ensure best practice outcomes.
- Ensuring procurement, contract management and negotiation activities and processes are aligned and comply with SA Public Sector policy requirements and identifying control measures to effectively manage the YNLHN’s commercial risks in conjunction with RSS and Department of Health and Wellbeing (DHW).
- Successful delivery of key divisional improvement projects.
