We are excited to be supporting our Client in the recruitment of a Youth Education Specialist based in North Sydney.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Secondary Teacher (Proficient) who has experience working in inclusive and special-assisted education programs.
About the Organisation:
- Delivering life-changing outcomes to Young People
- Working with young people and their families to improve family relationships
- Supporting young people in re-engaging in education
- Engaging young people through specialist case management
- Servicing the North Sydney community
- Level 4 pay range on the Educational Services Award ($90, 000 pro rata)
- Short-term contract (3 months) with the option to extend
- The role is based in North Sydney
- This person will work in collaboration with allied health professionals and social workers to deliver specific outcomes to young people
- You will work with clients for 4 to 8 weeks at a time
- Age groups will range between 12 to 24 years
- Work in collaboration with Social Workers
- You will deliver special assistance programs and on occasion plan individual education plans
- You will work in collaboration with external stakeholders
- You will provide educational programs to vulnerable youth who are disengaged from traditional education
- Secondary Teacher with a Proficient NESA Accreditation
- Experience in working in inclusive and special assistance programs
- experience working with Youth who have been disengaged from mainstream education
