Your Opportunity
Be part of a rewarding program, providing effective up-skilling and tenancy management services to Young People in the community. Work closely with agencies and external stakeholders to secure successful and long-term tenancy options for your clients.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Support Young People to live independently.
Provide education to Young People regarding their tenancy rights and responsibilities.
Conduct regular tenant meetings and inspections with tenants.
Ensure all tenancy applications, property inspections and reports are completed accurately and in timely manner, as per service standards.
Ensure tenancy allocations are made according to the policies and procedures of Mission Australia and the funding body.
Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
Requirements for Success
Proven understanding and experience working with Young People in the community
Previous Housing or Property Management experience, with a strong understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 1999 being highly desirable
Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Competent with computer systems and record management
Current Northern Territory Drivers Licence
