Job description:
-Plan, organize, and facilitate workshops for boys, teachers, parents, and men.
-Develop and adapt workshop content to meet the specific needs of different groups.
-Utilise interactive and engaging methods to deliver workshop material effectively.
-Provide one-on-one support and mentorship to youth members participating in the workshops.
-Identify and address individual needs, challenges, and goals of the participants.
-Foster a safe and inclusive environment where participants feel comfortable sharing and learning.
-Work closely with schools, sporting clubs, workplaces, and community organisations to coordinate workshop schedules and logistics.
-Collaborate with teachers, coaches, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of workshop principles into everyday practices.
-Maintain strong relationships with external partners to promote the company’s mission and expand its reach.
-Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of workshop content and materials.
-Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in youth development and related fields.
-Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of workshops and make recommendations for enhancements.
-Maintain accurate records of workshop attendance, participant feedback, and outcomes.
-Prepare reports and documentation as required by the company.
-Manage workshop materials, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications/Attributes:
-Must hold a Diploma in Social Services or similar, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
-Must possess at least a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
-Have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
-Must have knowledge on mental health, well-being, and resilience building.
-Must have proven experience in youth work, workshop facilitation, or a similar role.
-Ability to engage and inspire participants from diverse backgrounds.
-Deep understanding of youth development.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
