AddressExperienced 1st Class Welders required in Sydney.
12hr shifts are available with day and night shifts, and plenty of overtime. This position is for professional welders. Experience in the following is a must.(DO NOT APPLY if you don’t have experience in the following)
· OVERHEAD
· HORIZONTAL
· VERTICAL
- All welders will need to pass welding testing prior to starting.
- On-site and Factory work.
- Factory work will be a Fillet weld down hand MACRO tested as well as a full pen weld from one side.
- Full UT tested
- 12mm plate
All successful candidates will require to undergo medical and fit tests.
- Minimum 40hr weeks but overtime will be required
- Site job will be 2G, 3G and 4G butt welds all 100% UT tested, as well as a 4F fillet Macro tested
- Solid wire root and hot pass flux core fill and cap 25mm test plates
- Medical, drug and alcohol, fit testing
Welders will need to supply standard work clothes, leather jackets, gloves and safety glasses, basic hand tools, welding helmet with PRPA (Air feed helmet) or helmet with P2 respirators.
Requirements:
· Required Welding qualifications & tickets ( Essential )
· Confined Space ( preferred but not essential )
· EWP ( preferred but not essential )
· Working At Heights ( Preferred but not essential )
