Baker & Provan have established a well-equipped workshop in the Polo Flat area in order to continue to support Snowy Hydro, Snowy 2.0 and all local industry.
We are looking for a 1st Class Welder / boilermaker to join our small but capable team and continue to provide an essential engineering service to the Monaro Region.
With core values of care, respect and excellence, we are looking for both suitable capability but equally importantly a positive and can-do attitude and a good team-player.
The scope will include both workshop and site installation and may also involve some non-fabrication activities.
Key capabilities will include:
- structural steel
- pipework
- light to heavy fabrication
- Experience in GMAW and MMA
- MIG, TIG and stick
- Ability to read drawings
