2 Roles - PT Dispense Technician and FT Pharmacy Assistant (beauty experience)

We are searching for a Dispensary Assistant to work part time and a Pharmacy Assistant with Beauty Experience in a full time capacity.

💊 Position: Dispensary Technician (Part Time 3 Days a week - Fridays and Saturdays are essential)

💼 Responsibilities:

• Dispensing Medications: Accurately and efficiently dispensing prescription medications according to established protocols and under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring medication stock levels, restocking shelves, and assisting with inventory control to ensure adequate supplies are available for dispensing.
• Prescription Processing: Processing and entering prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system, verifying patient information, and ensuring the accuracy of prescription details.
• Patient Education: Providing basic information to patients about their prescribed medications, including usage instructions, potential side effects, and precautions, in accordance with pharmacy regulations.
• Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with pharmacists, Pharmacy Assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless workflow, accurate record-keeping, and timely medication dispensing.

💼 Requirements:

• Certification or Training: Completion of a pharmacy technician program or relevant certification is typically required.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping to prevent errors and ensure patient safety.
• Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Technical Competence: Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems and other technical equipment required for medication dispensing and inventory management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, confidentiality and best practices to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in medication dispensing and patient care.

💄 Position: Pharmacy Assistant with Beauty experience (Full Time) 

💼 Responsibilities:

• Customer Consultations: Conducting one-on-one consultations with customers to understand their beauty needs and recommend suitable products, considering any allergies or sensitivities.
• Product Knowledge: Staying updated on the latest beauty trends, products, and techniques to provide informed recommendations to customers and address their queries effectively.
• Merchandising: Ensuring the attractive display of beauty products in the pharmacy, including creating eye-catching product arrangements and maintaining organized shelves.
• Promotions and Events: Collaborating with the pharmacy team to plan and execute promotional events, such as product demonstrations or beauty workshops, to increase sales and enhance customer engagement.
• Customer Education: Educating customers about proper skincare routines, makeup application techniques, and the benefits of using specific beauty products, fostering long-term relationships and customer loyalty.

💼 Requirements:

• Beauty Experience: Prior experience working in the beauty industry, preferably in a retail or customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of skincare, makeup, and beauty products.
• Product Knowledge: Deep knowledge of various beauty brands, product ingredients, and their effects on different skin types, along with the ability to stay updated on new product releases and trends.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers effectively, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations and advice.
• Sales and Customer Service Skills: Proven sales experience and a customer-centric approach to meet sales targets, build rapport with customers, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
