In preparing for their next exciting growth phase, they are looking for 2 motivated and highly experienced Commercial Collections Officers to join their high performing team. Location North Sydney/Blended work arrangement after probation
The Opportunity
- Maximise collections and recovery strategies within an assigned portfolio.
- Evaluate Customers’ intent and/or ability to pay.
- Negotiate debt payment/settlements in line with customer and business needs by considering any adverse risks to the business and limiting exposure where possible
- Accounts reconciliation
- Make collections and recovery decisions that maximise recovery whilst managing the risk of exposure.
- Negotiate complex disputes with customers to ensure best outcomes whilst mitigating exposure
To be successful in one of the following roles, you must have:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Min 3-5 years experience in a collections position within banking/finance/fintech
- Demonstrated background in successful debt collection, mercantile and legal recoveries across a range of debt
- Experience with Salesforce client interface – highly regarded
- Hold an Australian Permanent Resident Visa or Citizen of Australia
