The position is a full time clinical position and will involve supervision of junior medical staff involved in the day to day management of patients receiving treatment under the Department's supervision, in particular those on the high dependency unit, as well as in-patients referred from other inpatient units. The successful candidate will participate in the depts on call fellow's roster in a 1 in 4 rotation as well as participating in the Division of Medicines' weekend clinical lead role at a 1 in 8 rotation. Candidates must be registered as an advanced trainee by the Royal Australian College of Physicians in general paediatrics, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine or another relevant speciality.
