Job description

McGrathNicol is a specialist Advisory and Restructuring firm, helping businesses improve performance, manage risk, and achieve stability and growth. 
Our Cyber team specialise in working with clients to proactively manage technology and information security risks. We help set governance strategies, design frameworks and respond to time critical cyber and privacy related matters. As a Graduate, you will be exposed to all aspects of our cyber services such as:(1) Cyber Risk – Providing expert advice that extends beyond the theory, and working to roadmap, design and deliver practical initiatives that build ongoing security capability in organisations;(2) Digital Forensic – Conducting forensic imaging of computers, mobiles and technology to preserve, collect and analyse as part of a detailed forensic process for disputes and investigations;(3) eDiscovery – Handling critical and sensitive data in legal proceedings, including data collection, preservation and processing large file sets;(4) Incident Handling and Response – Experience incident response and crisis management in high paced environments, to effectively resolve cyber incidents and implement improvements for the future; and(5) Information Security – Challenging your technical and written skills in penetration testing and vulnerability management, security risk assessments and developing fundamental security initiatives to clients.

Who you are

  • either an Australian / New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident at the time of submitting your application, or eligible for a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) upon graduation;
  • in your final year of (or recently graduated with) a STEM or Information Technology / Cyber related degree; and
  • available to commence full-time work in February 2025.
