Form of workCJD Equipment is seeking motivated 2nd to 4th Year Apprentices to join our growing Darwin Branch. If you are an HV Mechanic Apprentice looking to continue your trade qualification, or an LV Mechanic Apprentice looking to upskill to HV, we want to hear from you.
This role provides an opportunity to work on market leading light to heavy duty road transport trucks, for an award-winning company who provides job stability, a competitive hourly rate, and stacks of training and development opportunities.
Adult apprentices are encouraged to apply.
A day on the job will see you:
- Be mentored and supported by our experienced mechanical team.
- Support in completing servicing and mechanical repairs on a range of light to heavy vehicles.
- Daily housekeeping and workshop duties.
- Continuation of trade qualifications.
What you need to be successful:
- High importance on safety for yourself and your work mates.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a workshop environment and completion of 1st year of trade school.
- Have a commitment to training and career development.
- Be able to follow directions and work as a valuable member of the team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol test.
