Position/ Qualification:
- Full-time Diploma Room Leader
- Must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Must have a minimum of three years Room Leader experience
- Salary of $70,000.00 plus Superannuation
- Must have a cleared Working with Venerable People Check (WWVP)

Key Responsibilities:
Excellence in Education & Care:
- Implement a high-quality curriculum consistent with organisational philosophy, regulations, and standards.
- Contribute to the planning cycle and review, documenting individual and group learning and development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment, responding to children's strengths, interests, and needs.
- Engage in critical reflection and utilise learning frameworks to enhance children's educational experiences.
- Support children's well-being, individual needs, and comfort in daily routines.
- In-depth understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Workplace Health & Safety:
- Uphold educator-to-child ratios and qualifications.
- Utilise the services systems for quality maintenance
- Ensure the Service’s duty of care to children and their families is strictly maintained.
- Administer first aid and medication in compliance with procedures and policies and ensure to keep accurate and detailed records of injury/accident/trauma and medication forms.
- Work in a manner that does not pose a risk to self or others.
- Always ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Follow Service policies and procedures in providing a safe environment for children and staff.
- Have a good understanding of the services child protection policies and procedures and ensure compliance as a mandated reporter.
- Understand, implement, and review emergency management procedures as required.
Partnerships and Communication:
- Demonstrate respect for families' practices, beliefs, and roles as the child's first teacher.
- Build positive relationships with families through professional communication and engagement.
- Support team collaboration, respecting diversity, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Actively contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan and attend service events and celebrations.
Learning & Development:
- Engage in reflective practice at individual, team, and service levels.
- Utilise the 360 Early Education Learning Platform (Ed App) for self-paced learning.
- Participate in continuous learning through goal setting, coaching, and performance feedback
