Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a seasoned BIM Leader with specialized expertise in 3D scanning to head our BIM department. The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in surveying, engineering, or a related discipline, complemented by profound knowledge and hands-on experience in BIM and 3D scanning technologies. As our BIM Leader, you will play a pivotal role in setting and enforcing BIM standards, steering BIM and 3D scanning projects, and guiding a dedicated team towards delivering top-tier surveying solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and enforcement of BIM and 3D scanning protocols and standards across the organization.
- Lead the execution of BIM and 3D scanning projects, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks, budgetary limits, and timelines.
- Facilitate seamless integration of BIM and 3D scanning processes with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Offer technical guidance and support on BIM and 3D scanning software, tools, and practices.
- Conduct training sessions and mentor team members on the latest in BIM methodologies and 3D scanning techniques.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends and advancements in BIM and 3D scanning to foster innovation within the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in BIM roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity, with a strong emphasis on 3D scanning technologies.
- Expertise in BIM and 3D scanning software and tools, such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and specialized 3D scanning software.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage teams effectively.
- Capability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
