Job Responsibilities:
- Act as an electrical team leader during installations, ensuring efficient, safe, and quality work with adherence to Darwin Solar’s high standards.
- Supervise installation of solar PV systems, including conducting electrical wiring, mounting of inverters, batteries, solar air conditioning, solar pool systems, and other standard commercial and residential electrical work.
- Test installed systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Perform switchboard upgrades and other standard commercial and residential electrical tasks.
- Mentor apprentices and assist in their training and development.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of smart home systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and electrical regulations.
Requirements:
- A Class Electrical Licence.
- Previous experience in solar energy installations preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and assist with leading installation teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
