The Midfield Group is privately owned and operates a true ‘Paddock to Plate’ experience as we own farms, factories, and distribution as to ensure we retain control of the key elements of the process of getting livestock from paddock to plate.
We have a current vacancy for a highly skilled and safety focused Qualified A Grade Trade Electrician to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria. In this role, you will be required to work alongside a crew of like-minded tradespeople to deliver maintenance onsite.
About the Role:
- Electrical service and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Fault finding on machines including electrical & mechanical machines and subsequent repairs.
- Installing new machines and complete electrical systems.
- Repair and maintain all types of electrical equipment.
About You:
- You must have an Electrical Trade Certificate and/or other related industry qualification
- Knowledge of common machining equipment.
- Strong experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
- Self-motivated, problem solver & team player
- Be punctual and reliable
- Have strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- You must have the right to work in Australia (38 hours/week)
- You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required.
- You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process.
