We’re looking for an A Grade Electrician to join the Sparx Power & Data team to help us take our business to the next level. We specialise in providing electrical and data services to the education and hospitality sectors, and other commercial premises. The role is based in Mornington with work on the Peninsula, South-Eastern suburbs, and Bayside areas. We are an established company with a loyal client base and a fantastic team who work well together.
About the Role
- You will be responsible for helping Sparx Power & Data’s clients to have the most effective electrical and data infrastructure for their business. You’ll help deliver electrical and data installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs, you’ll work with a range of commercial and education sector clients, and you will help us to be the best commercial electricians in southern metropolitan Melbourne.
- We are a technologically progressive company, using online job management and reporting systems. Some administrative time will be required each week, but we do our best to make this as easy as possible for the team.
- You will get all the training you need on our core systems and processes, and our approach to providing electrical and data services to our clients.
- Based on your level of experience, the role includes supervising an apprentice where required and liaising with clients and wholesalers.
- This is a full-time role, 5 days a week, with regular working hours between 7am-5pm. You’ll be working within our team on the Mornington Peninsula, South-Eastern suburbs and Bayside on a variety of worksites with a great range of work.
- Work vehicle, phone allowance and uniform are provided.
- You will part of a supportive, motivated, and professional team, who value each other’s skills and experience.
About You
- You will:
- be a registered A-Grade Electrician
- hold a current cabler’s registration
- have a current Working with Children Check
- have demonstrated experience in the electrical industry, preferably in a commercial setting
- be able to work effectively with clients and other key stakeholders
- have an Australian driver’s licence
- Be able to supply some of your own tools.
You will also be proactive, a team player, show integrity and be a good representative of our company to our clients. You will be a great communicator and a confident electrician.
