A Grade Electrician

Kestrel Recruitment is a local Recruitment and Group Training Organisation specialising in placing candidates with our clients across North East Victoria and Southern NSW within both the white and blue collar sectors.

An established Electrical Contracting company with operations in the North/East of Victoria and Southern NSW specializes in all facets of the Electrical Industry, including Solar. Currently engaged in a range of high-profile and medium-sized commercial projects, they are seeking dedicated and self-motivated A Grade Electricians to become part of their team.

About the Role

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Work on diverse projects, including Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities, Large Retail, School/Government buildings
• Perform installations of lighting, power, switchboards, lighting control, generator, fire, and UPS systems
• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical installation
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Foremen, and Wholesalers

About you

The ideal candidate for our A Grade Electrician position is a skilled and safety-conscious professional with an A Grade Electrical Licence. You will excel as a team player, communicate effectively, and can lead apprentices. Preferred qualifications include an EWP Yellow Card & High-Risk Licence, while a commitment to compliance standards is essential. Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and maturity are key attributes we're looking for to join the team and contribute to their mission of electrical excellence.

Requirements

• Hold an A Grade Electrical Licence
• Current Manual Driver’s Licence
• Hold a White/Red Card
• While not essential, an EWP Yellow Card & High-Risk Licence would be preferred
• Provide a Current Police Check and working with children's check
