- Salary Level: CWT 4 to CWT 5 depending on formal qualifications and / or experience
- Salary: $68,374 to $70,149 per annum (FTE) plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role: You will;
- Maintain parks and gardens, reserves, streetscapes and open space areas
- Undertake reactive pruning of street trees with minimal proactive 'block' pruning
- Undertake tree planting, staking, mulching, watering and general maintenance of street and reserve trees
- Prune and remove trees to provide high quality arboriculture maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards in road verges, streetscapes and reserves
About you: You will;
- Be able to undertake manual work
- Possess good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Be dependable and motivated to work as a team
- Have a high standard of Work, Health and Safety for you and your colleagues.
- Hold a minimum Class MR driver's licence
- Have the minimum essential qualifications and/or relevant experience as per the following:
Essential qualifications for Salary Level CWT 4:
- Demonstrated competencies in all activities in a similar role with no formal relevant qualification
- Work Zone Traffic Management Certificate. or willingness to obtain
Essential qualifications for Salary Level CWT 5:
- Certificate III or Trade qualifications in Horticulture and demonstrated competencies in all activities in a similar role
- High Risk Licence - above 11m EWP
- Work Zone Traffic Management Certificate, or willingness to obtain
In accordance with the requirements of this role, a National Police Clearance (within 6 months of issue) will also be required as part of the recruitment process.
The CWT is a COVID-19 vaccinated workplace, so if successful in gaining employment with the CWT you will be required to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status indicating you have received your two primary doses (or three primary doses if immunocompromised) or alternately your SA Health approved vaccination exemption.
