In this role, you will truly partner with project and HSE stakeholders assisting with providing advice to support and maintain a safe and healthy workplace and for adherence to company policies and applicable laws, regulations and standards for the workplace.About the role· Partner with Projects and Maintenance divisions to assist with delivering initiatives that are relevant to the client and drive project and business strategy· Ensure implementation of the HSE Management System on all phases of the project and maintenance services· Provide assistance to management and other staff on HSE issues and risks· Implement and monitor the HSE Management System, safety procedures, documentation and audit system in conjunction with the overall HSE Management System· Assist with audits conducted on HSE project compliance· Promote and implement USafe culture and programs including critical risk management· Undertake any adhoc projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the team· Maintain and take ownership of reporting set by the business and clientAbout you
- Tertiary qualifications or Cert IV in HSE or a related discipline mandatory
- 2 years plus working within Health and Safety or Environment or with a keen interest to develop your career in this field
- Ability to work independently, to organise and prioritise demands, to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- The ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels, both internally and externally
- Ability to engage with stakeholders in a proactive manner to provide strategic business partnering solutions
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
