We’re looking for an Aboriginal Wellbeing Worker (Male) who:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the key health issues that impact Aboriginal people and communities.
- Support development, promotion, and facilitation of training
- Demonstrated knowledge or ability to liaise, engage and collaborate with Aboriginal communities and relevant agencies to ensure culturally responsive services.
- Has knowledge and understanding of the impacts of trauma.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications or work-related experience with a willingness to work toward a Certificate IV in Aboriginal Family Wellbeing & Violence Prevention Work and/or ECAV Advanced Diploma of Aboriginal Specialist Trauma Counselling.
- Knowledge or skills in facilitating training or workshops to a range of stakeholders.
- Have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and the ability to effectively work with Aboriginal communities to address Aboriginal health and community needs.
- Knowledge or skills of the effects of child sexual assault and the long-term impact on adults and the impact of intergenerational trauma for families, and community.
