As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our Acai Lunch and Dessert Menu offerings. This position requires individuals who are passionate about food, dedicated to providing outstanding customer service, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and Presentation: Prepare acai bowls, lunch items, and Desserts according to our recipes and standards. Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively and in a timely manner.
Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service to all customers. Answer questions about menu items, make recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen and dining area. Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for ingredients and supplies as needed. Rotate stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate orders and provide excellent service.
Upselling and Promotion: Actively promote menu items and special promotions to maximize sales opportunities. Upsell additional items such as beverages or desserts to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or cafe setting.
- Strong passion for food and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
