ACCESS TO HEALTH  

SUPPORT OFFICER

Part Time - 12 Month Fixed Term

Circular Head Council is seeking to appoint a part time Access to Health Support Officer for a 12-month term.

This role is to actively contribute to the Access to Health Services (A2HS) project which seeks to improve Access to Health services in the Circular Head municipal area. 

You will work closely with and support the Circular Head Health and Wellbeing Collective toward better understanding, acting on and advocating for better Access to Health services in Circular Head.

About You

You will need:

• Skills, experience or qualifications in a relevant field e.g. social work, social sciences, community development, research, health promotion, allied health, or nursing.
• A Working with Vulnerable People registration
• Knowledge and understanding of the local community, networks and service providers.
• High level of communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, disciplines and roles.
• Great skills in research and information gathering and analysis
