Sodexo have an opportunity or Accommodation Administrator with reporting and IT skills to provide support to our Managers and staff.
This is the perfect opportunity to build your remote site experience with the opportunity to rotate through various duties.
As a Accommodation Administrator , you will contribute to the day-to-day operations of a mine site by providing excellent customer service via phone, face to face and email to improve the quality of life of guests and other staff at their home away from home.
Who are we looking for?
Our Accommodation Administrators are team players. They have a can-do attitude, are flexible to work across many departments and always remain focused on safety and service delivery. Reporting to the Village Manager, you will have excellent organisation skills, customer service skills and the ability to work under limited supervision, ability to answer queries, provide direction to new starters, run reports hourly of new arrivals, organise site entry, key replacements, communicate with staff required cleans, book flights and accommodation, discuss maintenance issues and maintain a register of maintenance, assist in the retail shop and the flexibility to get hands on making beds, cleaning ablution facilities and other utility tasks as required. You are the 'backbone' of our remote sites team. You will contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and provide a service for customers, ensuring that each experience is as close to that feeling of being in a home away from home. This position is a Casual Local hire role from Mackay. Our Accommodation Administrators are required to work up to 12 hours per day as and when required with some weekend work as required. Starting times are agreed upon with the Supervisor.
To be successful, you'll need:
Australian Citizenship, or full Australian drivers licence
Able to undergo a pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing, breathalyse testing before the start of every shift and a National Police Check
