The Nebo Junction Accommodation Village is located near Nebo (about 86 kilometres southwest of Mackay). The Village consists of an Accommodation sector involving 368 serviced rooms, a BP Service Station/Roadhouse, Bar, Gym and Mess Facilities in a resort style environment. Our facility provides accommodation, meals and services for the mining and construction industries as well as the general public. We are an Australian owned and operated family business specialising in providing a high quality end product in a friendly and efficient manner. The Administrator / Receptionist Role is an important position under direction from the Manager.
This responsible role involves dealing with guests and clients, organising and maintaining the booking systems, invoicing, taking payments as well as other reception duties. General reception duties includes checking guests in/out, handling phone and email enquiries and taking bookings.
Three month trial period followed by a 12 month contract. Involves morning and evening split shift with indicative hours of 7.00 am - 12.00 pm and 2.30 pm - 8.00 pm (with one 30 min unpaid meal break in evening shift). 40 to 50 hour weeks can be anticipated. Roster will be 5 days on (Mon - Fri) and 2 days off (Sat - Sun). Meals and accommodation provided whilst on roster. Skills and experience
At least 2-3 years experience in similar work with emphasis on administration. An outgoing personality and above average organisational skills are required Must be energetic, accurate, reliable and be able work in a team environment. Excellent customer and communication skills are required. Must be intermediate in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook/Gmail. Knowledge of MYOB would be an advantage. Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm. Current Drivers Licence. Police check may be required.
