Mahlab is one of Australia’s largest independent agencies, with 50 staff across Australia, NZ and Singapore. Mahlab delivers strategic, insight-led consultancy services that drive growth, customer retention and increase market share.
We specialise in working with complex organisations across multiple geographies. Our creative communications, marketing and publishing divisions bring our clients’ go-to-market, brand or customer engagement strategies to life across APAC. Our work has been consistently recognised on the international stage including Global Agency of the Year in 2022.
Candidates may currently be in an Account Director role or alternatively be a Senior Account Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career.
We are open to location for this role, candidates may work out of our offices in Sydney, Melbourne or Singapore.
The ideal person will have at least eight years experience in marketing or account service with some of this time spent in an agency environment.
In this role, you will get the opportunity to lead a variety of business marketing projects.You don’t have to have previous business marketing experience, however you must have an interest in applying your skills within the more complex business marketing environment.
The day-to-day will see you:
- Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for clients to achieve their objectives and deliver measurable results
- Deeply understand client objectives to develop plans, tactics and campaigns
- Lead and participate in project kick-offs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights for optimization
- Enjoys taking ownership of their accounts and making things happen
- Has the ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions
- Has proven experience in account service, preferably within a smaller agency environment
- Has a strong understanding of business marketing strategies and trends
- Possesses excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Comfortable with both big-picture strategy and in-the-weeds execution
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts
- Has the ability to coordinate and motivate client teams
- Possesses a data-driven approach to measurement, amplification and distribution
- Has broad experience across digital channels
- Is comfortable with budget and commercial management
