Exciting opportunity for a results-driven Account Director

Are you a dynamic Account Director looking for a new role for the New Year? Keen to get stuck into a variety of B2B marketing projects? We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join us in this newly created role.
  
Mahlab Marketing is part of a multi-award-winning independent agency, renowned for its marketing, publishing and communications services, and globally famous for delivering #workthatworks. We work with clients on a local, regional and global basis from our 4 locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore.

The role:

The Marketing Account Director will have the opportunity to lead B2B marketing projects for clients such as ABB, Salesforce, Figma and Slack. The ideal person will have at least 8 years experience in marketing or account service with some of this time spent in an agency environment. You don’t have to have previous B2B marketing experience, however you must have an interest in applying your skills within the complex B2B marketing environment.
  
The day to day will see you:

• Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of B2B marketing campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for clients to achieve their business objectives and deliver measurable results
• Deeply understand client objectives to develop plans, tactics and campaigns
• Lead and participate in project kick-offs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction
• Monitor campaign performance and provide insights for optimisation

The ideal person:

• Has proven experience in account service, preferably within a smaller or boutique agency
• Has a strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and trends
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions
• Comfortable with both big-picture strategy and in-the-weeds execution
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts
• The ability to manage and motivate client teams
• Possesses a data-driven approach to measurement, amplification and distribution
• Has broad experience across digital channels 
• Comfortable with budget and commercial management
