Role Summary:

The Account Manager is a engaging and collaborative opportunity within our Major Customer Accounts Team based at our Perth CBD offices.

The purpose of this role is to apply your relationship management and solution selling techniques to assist with the recontracting and acquisition of electricity supply agreements for our contestable customer accounts.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage important Major Customers - Successfully executing solution selling and relationship management strategies to allow the business to reach its key corporate objectives relating to contestable customer profitability.
  • Successfully navigating the Renewable Energy Transition - Educating and guiding customers through the complexity of the renewable energy transition. Having strong relationships with key customers and relevant external stakeholders, and providing unique, critical insights and feedback to support our internal stakeholders to maintain customer centricity while successfully navigating the renewable energy transition.
  • Collaborate and provide support to the team to assist with creating a culture of high performance, creativity, professionalism, teamwork, innovation, co-operation, and continuous improvement.

 What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstratable experience in Account Management of Major Customer Accounts, with robust understanding of their decarbonisation aspirations and key drivers.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the Energy Sector with a strong understanding of the WA Energy Market, Energy Pricing and Renewable Energy Solutions.
  • Demonstratable experience of collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to meet strategic objectives and outcomes.
  • Strong experience developing sales strategies and execution plans.
